Children's Day Drama: A Vision of Tarka's Future

During the 2025 Children's Day celebration, students performed an inspiring drama that captured the audience's imagination. Twenty students took the stage, each representing different professions - farmers, doctors, traders, musicians, bankers, pastors, and even actors portraying societal challenges.

This powerful performance demonstrated the diverse aspirations of Tarka's youth and our commitment to nurturing every dream through the Youth O'Clock initiative.

Detailed Landmark Achievements in One Year

Infrastructure & Power

✓ Renovation of the Chairman's office to modern standard
✓ Installation of 500KVA transformer at Zongo, restoring electricity to villages
✓ Solar-powered streetlights at Secretariat road/premises and Chairman's Quarters
✓ Rural electrification projects in Pipeline, Aso, Cherrywood, Likpo, and Orvande
✓ Installation of transformer at Tse Agbuku Mbaikyaa Council ward
✓ Repair of transformer at Kontien Village (ongoing)
✓ Repair of abandoned 700 John Holt Generator

Education & Youth

✓ Skills acquisition programme training over 400 youths
✓ Scholarships awarded to 120 students (primary, secondary, tertiary)
✓ Distribution of 10,000 exercise books to pupils and students
✓ Equipping and upgrading of Tarka LGC Computer Unit
